Two-year validity passport was issued from 1 October 2009 and cost RM100 and these two-year validity passports ceased to be issued on 15 January 2015.

This non-ICAO biometric passport were issued until the implementation of the new passport begins at offices across Klang Valley, Johor and Pahang before expanding nationwide between March and May 2010 and to foreign mission abroad between July and August 2010.
