Republic of Slovenia : ICAO Biometric Passport (2007 — 2010)

Only contains immigration stampings from Croatia.

The cancellation was made by slanted cutting over the pages and punch holes. The RFID chip is not working though not fully damaged as the cutting made across the antenna not on the chip itself.

Clearly is ICAO ePassport Generation 1 (BAC) as Gen-2 was introduced on 28 June 2009.

Cost €31.17 for a baby up to 3 year-old and only valid 3 years.

Joined the European Union 1 May 2004.



Slovenian passports are issued to citizens of Slovenia to facilitate international travel. It constitutes proof of possession of Slovenian citizenship. Every Slovenian citizen is also a citizen of the European Union.

Slovenian passports are the same burgundy colour as other European passports, with the Slovenian Coat of arms emblazoned in the centre of the front cover. The words EVROPSKA UNIJA and REPUBLIKA SLOVENIJA are inscribed above the coat of arms and the word POTNI LIST is inscribed below. Slovenian passports have the standard biometric symbol at the bottom and use the standard EU design.
